Celebrating Excellence: JDB Lab Members Shine at U of M President’s Leadership Awards and Honors Assembly

We are thrilled to announce that four members of our JDB Laboratory team have been honored at the recent University of Memphis President’s Leadership Awards and Honors Assembly. Each of these individuals has demonstrated exceptional commitment, skill, and leadership in their respective areas, earning them prestigious accolades.



Blass Watson: Outstanding BME Graduate Student Award

Blass Watson distinguished himself as a leader in the field of biomedical engineering. This award recognizes his academic excellence and significant contributions to the University of Memphis community.

Dylan Thompson: Outstanding Academic Achievement Award

Dylan Thompson's exceptional intellectual prowess and academic dedication have earned him the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award for a 4.0 GPA.

Steven Go: Dean's Award

Steven Go has been recognized with the Dean’s Award for his all-around excellence and leadership in academia and community initiatives.

Blake Robinson: Outstanding First Year of Involvement

Blake Robinson has made a significant impact in his first year at the university through his active involvement and leadership in various initiatives. His enthusiasm and commitment to the university community have only enriched our lab’s culture and research.
